Are you talking about internet navigation? If so, I think the big difference for me between my laptop and tablet is the keyboard. If I'm just looking around on the internet, then there's not a huge advantage either way, but if I'm posting here in the forums or doing any significant typing, there's no doubt that my laptop is much better than the tab. I guess you could always buy an external keyboard and pair it with your tablet, but I wouldn't because that's what my laptop's for.

So, I guess it comes down to how you're going to use your tablet. I use mine predominantly to surf the web, watch Netflix, and play games, and it does that really well.

unless you get a tablet that can take a keyboard and mouse then no. It is all about the typing. The problem with some tablets that can connect to keyboards is the keyboard cost $150! I know the acer A100 and A500 can use standard keyboards and mice but you have to have a micro usb to usb adapter. I got mine for like $3 including shipping on ebay.

Then the larger screen you get the less portable it becomes.
