horrible GPS

Anyone have a solution to the horrible GPS connection the a100 gets? Mine takes 5-10 minutes to connect if it ever does. This is with a clear sunny day. My phone sitting right next to it connected in seconds.

Try the ics leak, this seemed to have fixed my gps issues

i have not and will not jail break my a100. Do you have to jail break in order to let the leaked one?

It is better if you are connected to the internet at the time. So try it before leaving your home network range. When I do, it is much faster, but still nowhere near my Evo 3D (Which I rooted and wireless tether the Acer. Way better directions as it can check traffic and download maps)

oh and I like using the Acer as a GPS do to its larger screen and loader speaker. I even had a dash mount for it.My wife gets pissed when I video Skype and drive. it isn't like I look at the person while I am driving.
