Help with Downloaded Files?
Hi again,
I am running ICS on my new A200 and am very new to the android platform.
I have another very basic question. Thanks for your patience with a newbie.
When I open my emails and click on any attachments... such as a pdf document, they end up in a folder called downloads. I have found the "downloads" app and moved it to my home screen. I can open it and view all of the files in the folder but. How can I move these files out of the "download" folder and then put them in a different folder. Since these really are not apps I can't seem to move them around and organize them in any way.
I understand how to use astro to create the other folder. I can see how to use astro to move the pdf files from the download folder to the new folder, but I can't figure out how to put the new folder on my home screen.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Help with Downloaded Files?
Ok...
I figured it out. I needed to use the "Astro" widget instead of the app which then prompts me for a mount point rather than just opening up the file manager.
Once I get some basic file management skills down, I think I will really enjoy this new tablet.
Sorry for the newbie questions. - 03-03-2012, 12:03 AM #3
