I just got a new canon camera and can download pictures from the camera by using the USB cord. But if I take movies with the camera it does not see them. I believe this is because the tablet does not recognize .mov files which the camera creates. So I took out the card from the camera (it's a micro sd card in an adapter) and put the micro sd card into the tablet. I can access the .mov files with the MX video player on the tablet while it is on the sd card,, however I can't move the .mov files from the sd on to the tablet. It just tells me that it can't move them. Can someone help?

Are you using a file manager? There is a free one in the market for honeycomb (can't see it cause I'm typing) you can use it on SD card,USB sticks or portable HD drives. It should do the trick for you
