Iconia HDMI question

I tried hooking my Iconia up to my projector yesterday and the only thing I got on the screen was Lloyd with some text that said "720P?"

Anyone know why? It could be a number of reasons but has anyone had this and have a work around?

I am still not able to get mt Iconia HDMI out working on anything and that's the entire reason I bought it. anyone have a step by step on how to use it? Maybe I am missing something basic.

Did you select your projector's input as the HDMI slot. They are mostly set to VGA by default.

It auto discovers the input or I can select it. The Iconia came up, but only with that 'error' that I talked about previously.

Not that this is much help, but I hooked mine up to a 26in Westinghouse flat screen tv and it worked great. Played a movie on the a500 and it played on the TV too.
