Rooting the device I believe is the only way.

Root and use Titanium backup to remove an app maybe.

Yes you must be rooted and use software to remove system apps you cannot do it stock.

Also if you root and use titanium backup you can just freeze the apps instead of uninstall. If you uninstall them you will run into problems when you want to update the tablet.
