This is the best case I have found for the A500

Its a TPU case just like the ones used on android smart phones sometimes called :"candy cases". It fits tight offers drop protection and adds very little bulk. Only thing no stand up prop but I can live without it not to have all that extra bulk from other cases. Find it on ebay.

Very cool! Didn't know they had a TPU case for the Acer A500! might just pick on of these guys up. All of them are under $10!

I picked one up on Amazon a while back and had to do some Xacto blade wizardry to get the charger to fit- the opening was too small to allow for the charger. Does this one require the same thing, or is the opening big enough for the charger tip?

yes, sometimes you may get a little extra material that needs a little shave as with all stuff
