ICS: New issue: Network coverage is currently poor

I have found a new issue with the ICS update, despite having done a factory reset to try to solve the other issues.

When I ask the tablet to check to see if there is an update, it constantly says that the network coverage is poor and does not check for an update. This is despite the fact that the tablet itself indicates that the signal is strong and I am beside the wireless router. Internet on the tablet also works fine.

So, unfortunately, even if there is an update correcting the issues with ICS, I won't be able to get it. I guess I only have an option... return the tablet to Acer...
 
Yes from today Sunday 29th April I am getting this same message and I moved the Pad to 1 foot from the router and still same message..

Was not doing it yesterday but said no update was available :(

I have been having a few issues after updating. They are possibly reworking the update and then will release it again
 
I am having the same issue and it started late in the day on April 28. I just contacted Acer and they where no help, I swear I was talking to a computer that auto responds based on you question. They just told me to try back it will update soon. I find it weird that everyone is saying the same thing, no one downloaded anything or changed settings. it just happened. I think it is on Acers end. I guess I will just wait it out.
 
This must be an Acer issue, NOT a tablet issue because it just started for me today. Yesterday I didn't have this message

I've had issues keeping my A500 from automatically shutting off and also booting up using hard and factory reset :(
