Are any people on here successfully tethering with the A500? I have an original droid and am currently looking at this and the xoom.

I have a rooted EVO and i tether on the go with my Iconia. Having the USB port helps a lot since you can charge your phone while tethering at the same time. Wireless tether can kill a device battery really quick. I have been able to charge my EVO to full while tethering and still have plenty of battery life available for my tab. Should work perfect with the Droid as well. It's a great combo that puts us ahead of the other tabs, IMHO.

I myself have a rooted evo and I am tethering to my iconia..its great knowing you have internet everywhere on a wifi only tab..and the USB does help for charging the phone while tethering

I have a Canadian Atrix so tethering is easy and built in.
The native wifi access point app makes it painless.
