So received the new docking station for my Acer Iconia A500 and well might as well call it a Stand that you pay 60.00 plus for. You have to use the power supply that your tablet comes with to power the docking station, plus the model docking station for the the A500 does not have HDMI (not a big deal since there is one located on the tab itself).
Remote is pretty much useless right now except for using with memoplayer and to get back to the home screen (only works when you have power on the docking station).
Worth the cost? NO, but if they would add additional USB port to the Dock to expand on plus provide a power supply for the dock instead of forcing you to use the already ridiculously short power supply that came with your tab only then it might be worth the money.
So for now I would say save your money for now until Acer comes out with a different model docking station that allows A LOT MORE function to the unit.
