About 10 of texts don't send from my Alcatel One Touch Trac phone, why?

I have the Alcatel one touch tracfone model #A564C. Very often a text is not received by the recipient. I've been on the phone with tracfone customer service 3 times and Alcatel customer service once. They find nothing wrong. I don't know if the text message is received until I ask "did you get my message?" There is nothing on my end that tells me the message was not received. I've messed around with changing some settings. No luck. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums. The only thing i can think of is perhaps a different SIM card. Another option would be to use a different method of communicating, like an IM app like Skype or Hangouts.
