Thinking of getting a Kindle fire hd. But before I buy I need to know if I can connect to the internet via bluetooth on the wee phone I have its a Samsung E1080i
Dont need the advice about turning on anything to connect using Wifi. Dont have it. I know of one tablet that connects to the phone using the bluetooth but would like to get the kindle.
Can anyone advise...:)

All you have to do is set up a "hot spot" or mifi, as some call it, on your phone. It must have that capability, but most smart phones do. There are several apps that you can download onto your phone that will offer this function. Then you can wirelessly "tether" your Kindle to the phone and use the tablet just like it was on your home WiFi, as long as it's in close proximity to your phone. The speed will be limited to either 3 or 4g, whatever your phone can access. You only need Bluetooth if you're connecting a wireless keyboard or such.
