Will the Kindle Fire have a Calendar and Contact app? Will it be able to use GMail, contacts, and calendar? What about docs to go? I see that the Nook Tablet will have some sort of offering for these type programs.

I'm not sure about the calendar, but the email client can import contacts, at least according to Amazon's website.

Fire can get your contacts from Gmail or whatever webmail you use. There is no calender app for some reason. There may be some calender apps on the Appstore but I don't recall any.

There's no GPS, no maps, no Bluetooth audio or keyboard support, no cameras, no microphone, no killer gaming graphics engine, no video output, no compass, no gyro sensor, no chatting, no calendar, and no card slot for extra memory.

I don't know about everyone else but I really don't need GPS, rear camera, video output on a Tablet, especially if you already have a smartphone. That's why the Kindle Fire is so popular right now, for the price you get just what you need but calendar is definitely an app they should have added. I can see people use their tablets as a Notebook Calendar Planner. There should be apps in the Amazon Appstore.
