Default developer needs help from any kindle fire user

    Hello!

I'm a webdesigner from Berlin /Germany. As you may know, it's impossible to get a Kindle Fire in Germany yet. Well, I'm kinda stuck here, because I'm trying to otimize a website for the Kindle Fire and I need to know a few details which cannot be found on the web.

I need to now the exact viewport (screen size minus browser window) and the user-agent (a kind of meta tag tag that might/could differ from device to device).

I created a small site to gather the information automatically. Please notice, that the viewport changes when your're flipping your device in either landscape or portrait mode. The test page should recognize that (hopefully). If not, please reload the page after flipping.

Could you help me and post the output of the site from the Kindle Fire, please?

    Thank's in advance,
    Thomas

Thank you very much! Can you check that in landscape mode again, please? Cause, that's actually what I need to know.

Unless I use the "full screen" option.

    Then it is 1024x520 pixels.

Ah, cool! Did the webpage automatically refresh the values, or do you had to reload it? - I mean, when you flipped over from portrait to landscape mode.

I don't understand the fullscreen resolution, because I thought it should be 1024x600. Is there any kind of status bar that's still there while browsing in fullscreen mode?

It changed when I changed orientation, then to full screen. Not sure if it reloaded or just updated in real time.

There is a button on the browser to take you to full screen.

Full screen still includes the URL bar. It does not include the normal top kindle bar and the bottom browser bar.
