Can you install Chrome browser on the Fire?
Did a quick search for 'Chrome' but found 0 results (which seemed odd)
Question, a friend of mine just got a kindle fire and asked me if I can get him the APK for the Chrome browser to side load. Is that possible, and if so, how do I get the APK?
I have a Nexus, but couldnt find it anywhere in memory (maybe it gets deleted after install?)
thanx for the help

Chrome requires ICS files. I would be surprised if you could side load it without rooting.

Won't parse on non-ICS.

Re: Can you install Chrome browser on the Fire?
Let him know that Opera works rather well. I like the Amazon browser but Opera is easier to customize. Unless I'm missing something the Amazon browser only opens to the last page you browsed where Opera has a custom home page you can set.
