Was attempting to re-root my Fire with KFU, however KFU chose to install TWRP first which I think prevented me from ever achieving root. So as instructed to reinstate my stock Fire out of the box I flashed the update file as I had before to unroot it which worked perfectly. However, now I am stuck at the Kindle Fire boot screen and no TWRP to boot into recovery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have been having a weird problem with twrp holding down the power button during reboot gave me different options. Try that.
