My wife was given a Kindle Fire that seems to be rooted as it has superuser v3.3 installed. The problem is we cannot access any of the Google services on the device, it won't let us add an account, or log into an existing account. So I'm wondering if there is something missing from the rooting of the device that I need to install? I really have no idea how it all works, but I have used this site for information about by Samsung GSIII so I'm hoping you guys/gals can help me.
Let me know what I need to provide you for more information, here is what I know.
During boot up it says v1.4a
Android 4.2.2 installed
Superuser v3.3 installed
Also, on another note how would I install apps to this device when it's not supported by Google Play?
