Unremovable disappeared widget
OK guys bear with me here. I've did a Google search for the solution but I can't find it. I had a YouTube widget on my homescreen and after the update (which was like a week ago I think?) , I didn't realise that the widget isn't there until today. I tried re-adding but it says 'No Room On Home Screen'. Highlighted that area but I couldn't find anything. I have a full bar's length of room on that screen page but couldn't add anything else. It keeps asking me if I want to add anything on that page but when I do pick even the smallest icons, it won't let me. I reinstalled YouTube but there is still that void of space I can't fill. Help me out here..

Side Note;
if I enter overview, I can see that it has 'something' there but I can't find it. I hope its not that widget isn't the size of a pixel on the screen tho. :P - 09-03-2011, 01:48 PM

Re: Unremovable disappeared widget
my best advice is, when youtube updated it made it a new program. So I didn't have a widget but I did have a app button hot button to go to youtube. I had to replace it with a new one, so i just removed the button, did a new app button and it put it in there. The reason I knew it was bad was because the youtube pic was replaced with the android logo and your ap won't open, basically youtube was redid with a new path in a way. Hope that was somewhat helpful.

An option might be to delete the one home screen, then add a new black once back in. That way if there is anything wrong with the old page (index, or it thinking all the placeholders are filled), it would be completely replaced.
