Rooting a generic tablet
I purchased an inexpensive tablet around Christmas. It works well enough, but after I rooted my phone, flashed ICS and realized how much quicker and smoothly it performed, I'd like to root this tablet as well. I tried the one-click approaches--Gingerbreak, superoneclick--but they didn't seem to work. I am fairly new to Android devices, having really only used them for the last year or so.
The tablet has Gingerbread, 4 gigs of memory and does not have syncing ability with my laptop. It has 2 usb ports, I HDMI port and a ethernet port. I have a 16 gig sdcard installed. Any suggestions? - 02-08-2013, 07:50 PM #2
