My issue has been resolved.
Made a gingerbread AVD, and I have to say: the new OS looks pretty sweet. However, The controls such as home/back/menu/search and the keyboard don't show up!
Even if I add them as supported when I'm building th device, nothing shows. This would be quite a complication if I was testing apps on it (which I hope to sometime). Anyone got the same problem and/or know how to fix it?
