I just made the following directories in my /sdcard folder and dumped mp3s into them:

/ringtones
/notifications
/alarms

and it seems to work so far

^ I believe the OP meant the actual new ringtones and sounds that come in Gingerbread, not how to add custom ones.

I'd like to have the new sounds also, along with the new static wallpapers.

Edit: I actually found the following links by searching Google.

Thanks for this.

Word of Warning: Don't choose the very last notification sound (I can't recall the name, and the linked zip files above aren't actually the gingerbread sounds). It's like the Inception sound, and the first time it went off I jumped across the room, haha.

Could you please re-post these notifications. I'd like to transfer them to my LG G2 since the notifications on that one are very obstructive and noisy. Thanks!

you have to Google "Launcher, Wallpaper, Tastatur und Töne – Gingerbread-Feeling ohne Root auf diversen Android-Smartphones" and open the site of mobiFlip. There is a link under "Klingeltöne" which you can follow. Then you will get a download from Dropbox.

Sorry for this complicated way, but I am unable to post links :/
