ICS - email account issue

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 with Gingerbread 2.35.

When using the email program with several different email addressess (not the Gmail icon one) you can reply to an email on a specific account and in the "FROM" box you can select any one of your email accounts. Not necessarily the email account it was sent to.

I bought my Samsung Nexus today and it doesn't give you that option with ICS. Am I missing a setting or is that not an option anymore?

I installed ICS on my Nexus S and I don't see the option either to select the "from" in the Email app.

I have a phone with Gingerbread and I don't see that option either.

I do have the option in the gmail app for the last year though, ever since Google started updating it separately from the OS.

Perhaps your Galaxy Tab's email app was a custom-built one and not the stock Android email app, that would make sense then. So the option didn't disappear, you're just using a different application
