Default Is there any way to set in ICS what to sync with Gmail

    Hello,

With all versions of Android as soon you enter your Gmail account or Google Apps information (Under Accounts) it starts syncing everything.

You have to be super fast and lucky to be able to disable what you don't want to sync. Are they any tricks to avoid that?

I only want to sync Emails and Contacts but at the moment I disable all others sync options i t is to late.

For Example: It syncs Picasa Photos, After I disable Picasa the pictures are still there.

Not sure why Google does not let you choose before starting to sync.

    Any help will be great.

    Thanks

Disable main auto-sync option before entering Google account and then set up?, im not sure how that works with carrier rebrand phones in US i figure they might be strict specialy in CDMA networks, but i would not have such problem with my unlocked SG2

Clear your gallery cache or data and it will force a resync of picasa... and if you unchecked that it means your picasa pics will be gone. And it won't touch your sdcard pics...

Maybe the previous trick works too, disabling autosync before...
