Blue 3g/4g icon

I have a question, the devs over at the optimus v are working on ics for our phones. And 3g is spotty then someone found a fix to lock 3g and it actually locks. The bars go blue but 3g icon does not. In ics is the 3g icon supposed turn blue? Or stay gray?

Supposed to be blue.

In previous version of Android, the 3G/4G and signal icons were separate images inside the framework-res.apk. Now it seems with ICS they are 1 image and the up/down arrows are the separate images..

basically, in GB, you had the 3G or 4G icon with the arrows and the signal icon. 2 separate images.

in ICS, 3G/4G and signal are now 1 icon and the up/down arrows are separate, overlaid ontop. It's difficult to explain unless you're familiar with navigating the framework-res.apk

Seems someone is messing with the images.. if you're showing blue, you should be good to go until someone can fix the .PNG's
