I have a geiger counter equipped Android phone.. Sharp's "Pantone 5 107SH" from a Japanese SoftBank carrier. It's running a 4.0.4 version of Ice Cream Sandwich (Kernel version 3.0.8-perf).
When I copy text from emails and paste it into anywhere, (ex. notepad/new email) the line breaks are gone. Thus all the lines of text collapse into one. Expect when there are two breaks between the lines, both line breaks stay intact.
I tried the follow email applications: MailDroid, K-9 Mail, Gmail & SoftBank Mail. All the non-email apps I tired to copy text from works normally.
Also I tried to copy both plain-text mails and html mails.. \n and <br />, both resulting in the same problem.
Anyone have any idea what could be up?
Edit: I just realized that I have exactly the same problem when I copy text from web pages.
