Android 4.1 for Developers | Android Developers

There's a lot more than what was revealed in the keynote! Now we have to wait and see if app developers will take advantage of these, and more importantly, how soon phones can get it.

Android 4.1 actually sounds like an update while iOS 6 is just jailbreak features going into the OS.

Kind of. Officially, Adobe does not support it. But, if you download it before mid-August, it could work. Some users have reported it working on their devices. It does not ship with it, but with an OTA update, it will still be on there.

Support of resizing need to be coded to widget and it's disabled by default even thru views you used ready to resize, but in some cases if widget use heavly customized views which are less flexable they need to redesigned to support bigger sizes... google simply didn't implement them for those widgets

not until the manufacturer release the Jb update or some developer port the Jb rom for your device.

Since these tablets are unpopular the chances are NO. That's one reason why i love Nexus 7 because you get the latest software the first and they have plenty of developer support.

Can't wait for 4.2! Much prefer small upgrades to big jumps forward that involve changing around where stuff is and how it works.

*crosses fingers in hopes of battery life improvements*
