SafeSearch in Google Now?

I'm new to android and got a Galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean. Is there a way to turn off Safe Search in the search widget? I tried going to the google search app, but I do not see an option anywhere.

Maybe it's tied to your Google account? See if safe search is turned off on the web.

Nope, I locked and unlocked my safe search and turned it off completely. According to the Android online manual there is a setting under google search app, but its not longer there in jelly bean. I never looked in ICS.

I had turned off Safe Search in ICS. It was quite easy to do so from a sidebar menu, if I recall. Not liking that this basic function has been taken away. I'm hoping this was a mistake and not an intentional omission...

Me too, on my galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean, I can't turn off Safesearch... I've basicly searched anywhere, but didn't find any way around...

Fujisaawa, did you upgraded to Jelly Bean? Did it kept your setting?

Its a global setting for Google account so when when you enable it in PC it will reflect in the phone... I might be wrong but that's my understanding

From google home page scroll to the bottom and settings from there..thats where my filters are.
