So it seems that 4.3 now has the ability to deny apps permission as standard (without root) to certain features and areas.

As long as the app doesn't crash due to poor exception handling you can now deny at a granular level. Awesome!

Good feature to add. Would like to see it for myself.

FYI it's recommend not to use it since it's still buggy and not complete

That is a 3rd part app requiring a root. We are talking about a stock 4.3 feature.

Wait what? Really? Where? I have 4.3, haven't heard about this lol.

I don't have 4.3 yet. Look into the bowels of the developer options.

Description says no root required and is just a shortcut to a hidden feature in 4.3

Ok, probably said not compatible to me as I have not gotten the update yet. My bad.

I think we all would like to see how to access it without an additional app though.

I really hope it works well. There are apps that I would like to download that I don't because of permissions that I don't see relevant to its function

If you start withholding permissions, those apps will more than likely crash.

I tested a couple and no crashes. Not a fan so far. One of the permissions I wanted to control was startup and I do not see it listed.
