app request sms app for email account
Uh, there was never an iChat for iPhone, so not sure what are talking about. You obviously were doing this on your Mac with iChat and your google talk account and not your iPhone. iPhone does SMS and iMessages and Mac doesn't even have iChat any more as its features were replaced with the Messages app and FaceTime. Using iChat for emailing your google friends in not correct either, as you were simply sending them google talk messages. It's amazing how many people don't know the difference between true emailing and sending instant messages. Now the instant messages were being forwarded to their email account, kind of like a hacky appearance of sending emails, but it wasn't. With services like Whatsapp, you are not going to be likely to find an email client for android that mimics SMS appearance as emails tend to be quite a bit longer. Why not just use Google+ and message your google friends instead of trying to pretend you have an SMS account, or worse yet, trying to turn an older technology like email into another slightly less older technology like Instant Messaging when you can simply use Google+, or any number of other apps that tie into the Google API and instant message them the proper way.
