touch screen

touch screen not working on 7 inch pad. Have done a factory reset and of course wiped everything clean to start new but no luck.

Anybody know how to fix a non-responsive touch pad? Would hate to throw away a perfectly good pad!

are you talking about the nexus 7? If so its a known issue that it has touch screen problems. Some options would be to:
1) if you bought if from the google play store, ring up google and see what they'll do
2) if you bought it from a retail store such as best buy, return it if its still possible
3) try an update to 4.4 kit kat. Had problems on my tablet before updating and it seemed to do the trick, although it has little quirks here and there.
4) call asus and ask for an RMA
