Hello all,

I had rooted my phone and installed the Android 4.3 ROM on my HTC One. I wanted to upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat and copied the 4.4 ROM to my android file system and deleted the 4.3 ROM.
When trying to install 4.4, my phone is stuck at the bootloader and am unable to revert back as I am not able to access the file storage in this state to copy the working 4.3 ROM. I see a blue screen at the bootloader after the HTC logon screen.

Can somebody please advice me on how to access the file storage ? Thanks !

Hello,

Strange situation there. Almost sounds like you will need to RUU out of this situation.

In the future I recommend always making sure you do a full backup in your custom recovery before moving onward to a new ROM. This way you can have something to revert back to.

The problem your having could be a firmware issue too. There very well could be a firmware package that is needed to flash to update the system before running Android 4.4 based ROMs. Many of us had to do this when the first of the Android 4.3 ROMs came out when updating from 4.1.2.
