Hello, for two days I've trying to find the solution to this problem Im having. So, since two days ago everything was fine and everything worked perfectly, it was almost too good to be true, and of course something had to break. My phone is connected to my home wireless and it even has really strong signal but going on the internet simply doesnt work. Going on with mobile data works, but connected to my main wifi source doesnt. I've been trying everything from dailing *#0011# to changing the ips and gateways and whatever. Please help me, I really dont know what to do anymore. It can connect to the wifi but going on the internet/facebook/youtube is a pain in the *** because i cant do anything. And i dont understand. Please help!:(

Bad wifi connection at home ('Out of Range', bad quality of connection, flipping connection, no access) ? Set your wifi router to WEP-security instead of WPA/WPA2/WPS. More than one Android device (especially with Jelly Bean on it) can't cope with the newer security specifications. The cause is probably Android and not the device as it happens with devices of different manufacturers (though in many cases Made in China). I can't confirm if this WPA-problem occurs evenso on rooted Android devices as I have only tested it on unrooted ones. Try that first before flashing roms etc. The poor support from manufacturers is disappointing. The ideal thing for Android would be that a patch/update for a single problem like this would be easily downloadable (from Google e.g.) and easlily installed on the Android device with the problem. Common people who massively buy these devices often don't have the Linux/Android knowledge to fiddle around with their product.

When using a wifi network at a hotel, make sure your "forget" the wifi network first, in case your device is remember old credentials that are no longer valid. Then try connecting again.
