GS3, i9300, SlimBean 4.3.1 build 2.2, no custom kernel, also flashed Galaxy S4 launcher from .
Now, the problem I have is very very weird. I installed Appsi - basically an app which allows you to have a sidebar accessible from anywhere via swipe. The sidebar behaves like a home screen, allowing one to place widgets inside it, and is scrollable vertically. Now, the thing is that when I add for example a calculator widget, open the sidebar, and type some numbers on it - it works normally. However when I close the sidebar and reopen it again - even whilst I'm in the settings of Appsi itself - the buttons on the calculator respond - but the output stays stuck on my previous result! Basically the widget is frozen. Only after I open the editing section of the sidebar, press 'done' does it resume it's correct function - but once more - only for the first time until I close the sidebar away and reopen it - the widget is frozen once again! This happens to any widget I've tested - an alternative calc. widget, google keep, some toggle widgets - all perform their tasks - a toggle widget would still cycle between vibrate and silent for example - but no visual indication on the widget would be present.
Now, you might think that this is a bug within the app, bur not only I didn't find any clue on it on the official XDA thread, but I've also ran into this bug in another sidebar app thingy called Slideit which also allows to place widgets inside it - exactly same issue! Widget responds at first but after reopening the sidebar the widget acts as if frozen!!
This is definitely the weirdest thing I've ever encountered during my time as an Android user (a bit over a year now).
Reflashing the rom multiple times (after cleaning cache and davlik of course) + reflashing the GS4 launcher didn't help.
