'complete action using' box does not come up when playing a video.

The 'complete action using' box does not come up when playing a video, even though my video player is not set as default app for playing videos. I have tried clearing defaults. I'm really desperate Please help!!!! Thank you all so much for your help :)

Welcome to Android Central! Which device are you using? Have you tried "Reset All App Preferences" from the Settings>Apps menu? You usually have to press the menu button again in that screen to get this option.

What format is the video, and which video player are you trying to use? If the video format isn't compatible with the video player, it may not show up as an option.

Me too facing the same problem in opening videos from facebook since long... Not asking my choice of app to open it...
1. Settings>Apps>Reset app preferences
2. "Clear Defaults" for various related apps
3. Uninstalling and again installing facebook
4. Using apps like "1Tap Cleaner"

Nonve of the above working...... Its really really frustating

This all started when I upgraded to JB 4.3 on my Note 2.

I have a few calling apps installed but the CAU dialog box does not appear when I try to dial out using the stock dialer. I have to manually open the apps.

No defaults are set anywhere.
