How about a system cache partition wipe? No personal data will be lost, and it can sometimes help problems like this: [Guide] Rebooting into Recovery Mode for the Galaxy S2, S3, and Tab2.

The system cache partition stores various temporary data, including .apk installer files that are downloaded from Google Play. Sometimes a bad bit of data can get stuck there which can interfere with performance.
