Can't Use Whatsapp After Factory Reset.

Hi guys,

I'm using Micromax Canvas Fun which runs on jellybean.Last day I have done a Factory Reset.After that I tried to install Whatsapp again.When I try to install it,it asked for my contact number again.When I provide it,it goes loading for a while and it says " unable to connect.Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again . "
Please reboot your phone if your connection problem persists" .I have double checked the internet connection,it works fine.What should be the problem.Guys Please help..!!
