I have a rooted HTC One X with stock Sense 5 Android 4.2.2 and stock kernel. The phone is underclocked to 1Ghz and my current governor "Ondemand" is tweaked a little in my hopeless tries to expand the battery life of my miserable phone.
As you can see from the screenshots, Kernel (Android OS) uses A LOT MORE power that it's supposed to. It's always in second place (right behind the app I most use during the day, like Facebook or Whatsapp).
What can be the cause of this? Faulty kernel or a faulty battery? If you think I should change kernels, what kernels would you suggest that have good battery life and work with the stock ROM of the HTC One X?
