Apps don't work (4.2.2 JB)

Hi guys,

I have Gsmart Alto A2 and one strange problem.Whenever I use my home wi-fi connection and try to use some basic apps (Facebook, Instagram, Google's apps) apps is being crashed. But strange thing is that this is just happening on my home connection. All apps I want to download from App Store first shows Error 491, then download starts.

I've tried many different fixes:
- Factory reset
- Cache clean
- Gaccount change
- SD card formatting

but nothing helps. I've even tried to update firmware on modem, but that doesn't help either.

Modem is ZTE ZXHN H208N.

If anyone can help me with this, I would be much thankful.

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried changing the frequency of the router or the device?

You mentioned that this only occurs on your home network--so it works fine on other networks? Are those other wi-fi networks unsecured (i.e., no password required)? Thanks for your answer and sorry for late response.

All other networks (locked or not) working fine with my apps. I've noticed that problem is actually in modem's settings (I've tried modem Huawei HG530 and connection worked fine).

One thing that maybe can help you guys to identify the problem is this: when I try to login to my facebook account from my home wifi connection, I get Login failed response (Security exception: failed to connect to /2a03:2880:f01f:4:face:b00c:0:91 (port 443) after 60000 ms: isConnected failed: EACCES(Permission denied))

Check your router's security settings to make sure Facebook isn't being blocked for some reason by the firewall.
