Update Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean in Papyre Pad 972

Hi all.

I've purchased a second hand tablet Papyre Pad 972, which have next specs:
- Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean
- Cortex A9 1.5 Ghz
The manufacturer told me that they don't go to update it anymore, so my question is simple: Can I force update in some way?
I'm newbie in Android OS so any comments are welcome.

Welcome to the forums. Sadly, no. When the manufacturer chooses not to make a newer ROM for the device, your options to update it become limited. You could see if someone has made a custom ROM for it, but given that the device isn't common, this may not be an option.
