    Default Factory Image(JB) for Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus Posted

    Hi,

    Factory image for Galaxy Nexus GSM/HSPA+ and Nexus s i9023,i9020T,i9020a posted.



    Anyone planning to fresh start with Jelly Bean? I am planning to do it in the evening.

    I still would not prefer to delete everything. Is there any way to use this to update the software like when done by an OTA updated without having to wipe fresh? Im on a Nexus VZW btw.

    I'm pretty sure VZW CDMA is not on the books yet for 4.1.1 GSM only for now.

    I'm trying out a GN after being away from Android for awhile. I've only ever just used nandroid backups and flashed zips from recovery, is this a lot more complex?

    nope its very simple... This is flashing using fastboot so you need to connect USB drive to the phone. Install Android SDK. install the usb drivers for the phone in ur pc. run some commands on cmd prompt. here is some instructions for Nexus s
    it is pretty much same for galaxy nexus except for the files. READ IT CAREFULLY AND RESEARCH BEFORE YOU FLASH
