IP Address instead of Domain Name
Our network has direct IP addresses blocked so I am having trouble connecting to Google services on my Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7, both running Android 4.2. Previously I had no problem because they used the domain name clients1.google.com to connect, but now they are using an IP address. I have check a Motorola Xoom which is running an older version of Android and it has no problem connecting. Does anyone know how to tell Android to use the Domain names instead of direct IP addresses?
