Hi all I would like to ask, I have a nexus 4 running android 4.4.2 and which one saves more battery, dalvik or art?

From everything I've heard, ART saves a lot of battery... I've heard many reports of 20%. I'm switching my Nexus 5 over right now to try it for myself.

ART extends battery life on your device. ART eliminates converting portable bytecode into executable machine code that matches your CPU every time you start up any App. ART compiles all bytecode into executable code one time when you turn on the ART option then stores all Apps that way on your device. After you turn on ART you never have to waste battery power on the CPU over and over doing this conversion since all the Apps come up ready to execute. The only negative is ART makes the Apps a little larger in your storage.
