Prior to KitKat, the built-in night mode clock seemed almost too bright. After KitKat, it's very dim, hard to see across a room and almost impossible to see after the first hint of dawn. I haven't found an adjustment. Is there one?

I thought night mode was removed from the clock?

No - when displaying the clock, it still goes to night mode by long-pressing the screen or by selecting it from settings.

Thanks, very dim of me. I'm actually thinking there is no adjusting for it.
