    Default emojis are terrible.

I loved the last "android style" ones. They should have just updated those. These unprofessional and more cheesy. Any others with me?

I agree! I love how flat they are, but they are exactly like the Hangout emoticons for PC, which I hate.

I like the round "bubble" emojis...Are the new ones part of the KitKat update? I'm on Verizon and we haven't gotten the update yet.

Yeah, I don't really like these weird gumdrop shaped heads. The old green Android heads were better. The cat heads are OK. 😺

I love them! They look a lot better than iOS emojis.

The reason y they are Hangouts emojis is because Google. It isn't worth it to make a new set of emojis and it would be confusing to some.

I just like emojis now being in color. Emojis are supposed to be fun, and this 'gumdrop' look helps it.👍

All that aside I DON'T like that the 😃 & ☺ emoji look the same. On iOS, which many of my friends use, these look entirely different.

I like the Samsung(galaxys4) emojis alot better and even the Apple version.

Anyway to switch emojis without rooting phone? Will Any future Android updates give us the option?
