Default "Camera" and "Camera (old)" folders after updating LG G2

After updating my LG G2 to kitkat I've discovered that I now have two photo folders in Gallery, called Camera and Camera (old). The "old" folder has just over 1700 photos and the Camera folder has 19 photos that I think were taken after the update, but I'm not totally sure. It's just a bit irritating. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it the kitkat update or did it just coincide with the camera folder reaching some sort of maximum size?

Yes, I have that problem too ~ after updating the software. Also the photos don't appear to be fully there when connecting the phone to my laptop.

That is, not all the pictures I can see on my phone display under Windows Explorer.
