I just got my new S5. Kitkat has some nice upgrades built in since my Motorola Razr Maxx, like Swype. But I seem to have lost some things too. First and foremost, is there a way to go to Mute/Vibrate right at the login screen like I used to? If not can that be added?
Second, i really don't like the home button turning on the login screen. I fear that this will cause the phone to power-up in my pocket and drain the battery faster. Also, when I remove it from my pocket to answer the phone, I frequently hit the Home button on removal, and skip the call by accident. Can the power-up with home feature be turned off?
Oh, and I lost the Emoticons option (or at least can't find it) on the new Swype keyboard. Am I missing it, or is it gone forever?
