Samsung GS5 screen freezing for 2-3secs.

I got a Samsung GS5 for about four weeks now and I've started noticing some annoying freezing for a few seconds. It's very annoying and disrupts what I am doing. It sometimes press what you pressed when it froze (ex. You pressed the home key while it froze, once it finished being frozen it goes to your home) please tell me how to fix this. Or is it just kitkat 4.4.2?

It happened to me too for a while and then went away. It seems to be a widespread yet sporadic problem that no one has a solution for. It got to the point where I was gonna switch and get a note 3 but was outside of my 14 days for return.
