Default Text Messages - where are they stired

I need to find the directory / file that text messages are stored in. I use the stock messenger and wish to sync across an S5 and a Tab 3.0.

    1. They're stored in a SQLite database file. The devices have to be rooted for you to access them. (And you have to be fluent in SQL.)

    2. Use SMS Backup & Restore to back up from the S5 and restore to the Tab (or the other way around).
