how to disable swipe/glide and closing of app?

Why is it that when I swipe or glide the sides (left and right) of any app (most of them) it closes or goes away and takes me to home screen or previous screen?

It doesn't seem to be a launcher issue as I've tried with other launchers and without.

How do I disable this? It can get annoying when I accidentally slide my fingers on the side of an app or screen and then it closes.

It must be a setting in your phone's launcher or settings. That doesn't happen on my phones unless it's an app that's designed to do that.

I found the culprit.

It's a feature of the app called ONE TOUCHER. I turned it off and that fixed it.
