My profile picture isn't showing up in the pull down

So I recently got my new Moto X and I can't for the life of me figure out why my Google+ Profile isn't showing up in the pull down. I'm signed into Google plus and everything shows to be synced to my phone properly. If I click on the picture it tells me the contact doesn't exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Strange....can you load the picture on a desktop?

So it shows up fine on my tablet and my previous phone so not really sure why it's not here. I've attached a picture of the pull down where it shows a blank face. When I click the face on my other phone or tablet it opens my Google+ profile. On my Motto X it just states the contact doesn't exist.

Figured it out... There was a setting inside of Google+ to sync contacts. One checked it showed up.
